RISCO Orion RISCO is a company dedicated to providing services to realtors through an area MLS (Multiple ListingSystem.) Orion is an application designed for the Lock Box division of RISCO which managed and programmed digital lock boxes for an area MLS. Using an Access database, a Board of Realtors could track their keys, and safes through the system and which agent or company they belonged to. The Orion project was a conversion from a legacy application written in Visual Basic. The entire program was re-written in Visual C++ for better performance and maintainability. In addition to the front-end application, an IVR (Interactive Voice Response) application was created to server generic requests from agents regarding update codes and tamper reset codes.
