RISCO Galaxy After completing work on the Orion project, RISCO requested additional assistance in the creation of their online listing management system: Galaxy. An MLS purchases licenses to use Galaxy to track all the listings in their city. A given MLS might have as many as 1000 users hitting the system at a given time, so careful use of Session state in the ASP pages was necessary. In the end, a database state engine was used in stead of the standard Session object for increased scalability. Galaxy was an existing application RISCO had created over the years preceding East Watch, LLC's involvement. Some of the tasks necessary during this phase of development were converting from SQL Server to Oracle, changing the UI to a theme based system, and enhancing the back -end business objects to support new features.
